Neil Passmore

Neil began his professional career within the financial sector working for local firms of accountants before moving to Natwest Bank.  Having specialised in taxation, he obtained his professional qualification from the Institute of Taxation in 1987.  In 1993, Neil further expanded his expertise by obtaining the Financial Planning Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
 
He later joined Ernst & Young and served as Tax Manager enabling him to increase his skills and gain valuable experience in the financial arena.  With a background in the financial sector, Neil's journey in the care sector reflects his dedication and passion for making a positive difference in people's lives.
 
Neil's desire to help vulnerable people led him to pursue a new path. In 2004, he co-founded Passmore Care Services, a venture that aimed at providing exceptional care and support services to those in need.  Despite starting from humble beginnings, Neil's unwavering commitment and vision have been instrumental in driving the business forward.
 
Neil's compassion and genuine concern for others have been central to the success of Passmore Care Services. He firmly believes in delivering support of the highest quality, always striving to make a tangible difference in people's lives.  Passmore Care Services has flourished into a reputable care and support provider, earning widespread recognition for its excellent services.
 
Recognising the importance of personal growth and professional development, Neil pursued further qualifications to enhance his leadership skills. In 2013, he obtained his Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, solidifying his expertise and ensuring that Passmore Care Services continued to excel under his guidance.
 
Neil is proud of the reputation that Passmore Care has built over the years as a trusted provider of support and accommodation in the local community. He is committed to continuing to provide a compassionate and professional service that enables clients to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
 
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Neil enjoys supporting his local football team, Exeter City, and watching motor racing.

Janice Passmore

Janice Passmore is a highly respected professional in the care sector, with a career spanning close to four decades. As the co-founder and director of Passmore Care Services in Exeter, Janice brings compassion, a wealth of experience and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards and delivery of exceptional support.

 

Throughout her career, Janice has worked in various organisations including Devon County Council (social services department), Devon Partnership Trust, NHS, charitable organisations and the private sector gaining a comprehensive understanding of the industry and the diverse needs of individuals requiring support. Her broad experience supporting people with mental health issues, trauma, PTSD, learning disabilities, personality disorders, addictions, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorder, Korsakoff syndrome and acquired brain injuries has allowed her to develop a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by adults with a varied and complex range of support needs.

 

Despite early challenges in education Janice has embraced her professional development by pursuing relevant courses and qualifications. In 2014, Janice was successful in gaining her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, through Exeter College. Janice continues to invest in her continuing professional development and regularly attends conferences, seminars and courses. Janice also actively engages with professional networks and associations to stay informed about the latest developments and changes in legislation to ensure compliance and best practice within Passmore Care Services.

 

Janice is dedicated to driving excellence in compliance, health and safety, employment law, and leadership. Her leadership skills and philosophy revolve around compassion, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence which foster a culture of empathy, respect, and person-centred care within the organisation.

 

Janice's professionalism, integrity, and genuine dedication to improving the lives of those she supports has earned her the trust and respect of colleagues, other professionals, clients and their families. Her tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals. She consistently seeks out innovative approaches and best practices to ensure that Passmore Care Services remains at the forefront of the sector.

 

Beyond her professional commitments, Janice enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also a practitioner and trustee of a local charity close to her own heart. Janice is one of the Management Team, and is proactive in using her skills, knowledge and contacts to network and to raise awareness and funds. This dual role showcases her dedication to making a positive impact not only within the care services sector but also within the broader community.

Leah Pethick

Leah has worked for Passmore Care since 2006 starting out as a Support Worker and working her way up to her current role.  Leah is an expert in the social care sector and uses her vast experience to ensure high-quality support is delivered to all the individuals within the organisation.
 
She leads a staff team and oversees her Service Users to ensure support delivery achieves the best outcomes.  Leah supports individuals with a range of needs including learning disabilities, ABI, complex mental health conditions which include self-harm, PTSD/C-PTSD, personality disorders, drug and alcohol addiction, ADHD, and autism.  Leah is a trusted professional in the field and in addition also works with care leavers and those suffering trauma and domestic abuse/violence.
 
Leah excels in creating a positive and inclusive environment. Her proven track record in achieving positive outcomes for service users demonstrates a real desire to improve people's lives.
 
Leah has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Adults and Children and Young People's Services, having graduated in 2019. This has helped equip Leah with the knowledge to support individuals and lead her staff team at the highest standards.
 
Leah has fostered relationships with Passmore Care’s partners and is known for her excellent reputation with local commissioners.  Leah possesses an in-depth knowledge of the sector and stays updated with the latest developments and best practices. She approaches her work with unwavering commitment, compassion, dedication, and understanding, always striving to make a positive impact.
 
Outside of her working life, Leah enjoys being with her family and friends, walking and music concerts.
 

Rachel Maynard

Rachel is an accomplished Operations Manager with a diverse range of skills and expertise. With her excellent management abilities and dedication to high standards, Rachel effectively leads and oversees a team of administrative staff, ensuring smooth operations within the business.
 
Having worked for Passmore Care Services in Exeter for a number of years, Rachel has amassed extensive experience in various areas, including employment law and health & safety regulations. Her in-depth knowledge of these fields enables her to navigate complex compliance requirements and provide valuable guidance to the business. Rachel's attention to detail allows her to identify and address potential issues proactively, ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
 
As a valued member of the management team, Rachel consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to achieving organisational goals. Her ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders fosters a collaborative and productive work environment.
 
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys watching sports.
